See Raja,
When become of any reason, you have created a monopoly, government has to step in for benefit of society even in a capitalist set up.

Microprocessor is invariable a competitive world needing constant innovation and lower prices. Intel being learder in this should not influse upcoming vendors like AMD and others..This will lead to market monopoly and also not much room for new innovations. Competetion always bring the best and Monopoly ruins it.

Well said robin...the new ones should get chance to come up.....and no monopoly should be there.
